Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal Launches Health-Focused Startup Continue

Deepinder Goyal the co-founder and CEO of Zomato has announced the launch of a new health-centric venture named Continue which aims to serve as the ultimate health partner. Incorporated in April 2023 under the name Upslope Advisors Pvt Ltd Goyal is listed as the Director alongside two Zomato employees Akriti Mehta and Simrandeep Singh who serve as Additional Directors according to filings with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.

While the specifics of the platform are still under wraps it is anticipated that Continue will offer a range of features designed to enhance users' health and wellness. Potential offerings include nutrition tracking sleep monitoring and preventive healthcare solutions. This initiative reflects Goyal's increasing interest in longevity and the quest to extend human lifespan through a focus on mental health and wellness solutions.

Goyal has demonstrated his commitment to health and fitness through previous investments in the wellness sector including Ultrahuman a startup specializing in wearable technology that allows users to monitor sleep heart rate and other vital health metrics. His personal journey in health which includes a notable weight loss of 15 kilograms over four years further underscores his dedication to promoting a healthier lifestyle.

Despite Goyal's active role in the development of Continue Zomato has clarified that this venture is a personal endeavor for the CEO and is separate from the company's core operations. Zomato continues to focus on its four primary business arms which include food delivery Blinkit for grocery delivery Hyperpure for restaurant supplies and event services.
